The Yorkshire Pasta Company develop and produce delicious authentic pasta, using traditional methods and locally milled wheat flour. They are a small, family run, young business with enthusiasm and love towards their products and customers.

The Yorkshire Pasta Company originally approached us to help with their marketing strategy and social media, as they didn’t have the time to work on it themselves. Since then we have helped Yorkshire Pasta with managing their current website, email marketing, photography, video editing for reels and graphic design.

We took on Yorkshire Pasta’s current website to keep it up to date with the latest plugins. Since then we have worked closely with Kathryn to help push USP messaging and bring the website more aligned with their branding.

Marketing Services

Yorkshire Pasta needed help with creating a marketing strategy for their business moving forward. Since the company was founded just before Lockdown they had relied on online sales at the time. Since then we have worked closely with Kathryn on different forms of marketing to help her business reach further customers.

Social Media Advertising

Alongside the normal social media strategy we have also worked with Kathryn to do general advertising for the business on Facebook and Instagram. We focused the social media advertising on the companies USPs and general information about the products paired with amazing product photography and photography of the women behind the business.

We help manage The Yorkshire Pasta Company’s Facebook and Instagram accounts through the Meta business suite. We have worked closely with Yorkshire Pasta to create a diverse social strategy to help them engage and educate their audience on their company’s USPs, personality and products with a combination of photography, graphics and reels.

Creative Services

We have worked closely with The Yorkshire Pasta Company to help develop their brand further with our creative services. This includes, product photography, video editing for their social media and graphic design for their shows or trade customers.

Photography

Producing images for Yorkshire Pasta is always a fun challenge, it goes without saying that in any food image the subject needs to look delicious, but there are also other considerations to be taken into account. The Sublime Butter collaboration image needed to be brightly lit with colour accents that matched the pack, whereas the pesto shot needed to have accents that worked well with the pesto but didn’t alienate the pack. Possibly the biggest challenge with both images was that they needed to work in both a landscape format for use in print, and a square format for use on social media. Meticulous planning is required to make sure that each image meets its primary goal, but it’s always important to take in to account the different scenarios that an image may be used.

Video Editing

As part of the social media strategy we’ve created various reels for Yorkshire Pasta, some individual videos and some series’. These have included a series focusing on each different pasta shape, a meet the team series, and a few giveaways, as well as some for events such as International Womens Day. Instagram is a largely video centered platform these days so reels can play a big part in a social media strategy and should be considered by any business that relies on social media for traction.

Graphic Design

We have worked alongside Kathryn to update her existing adverts and flyers to keep more in line with their brand. Alongside this we have worked on creating marketing collateral for their shows which consisted of, a table cloth, competition signs, refer a friend cards, large scale expo banners and posters. We have also been working closely recently with Yorkshire Pasta to create a more professional product booklet for their trade customers and POS signs for shops.
